Core principle

The Listing Clarity extension has no analytics, no tracking, and no data collection server. All analysis happens locally in your browser.

This website (listing-clarity.com) uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles. The extension and the website are separate; details are under sub-processors below.

What the extension processes

Etsy page content: The extension reads titles, tags, prices, and review counts from Etsy pages you are viewing. This analysis runs on your device and the results never leave it.
Usage counter: The free plan's daily analysis count is stored in your browser's local storage only. It is never transmitted anywhere.
License keys (Pro): If you activate a Pro license, your license key is sent to Polar — our payment provider — solely to verify it. The key is stored locally in your browser. This is the extension's only network request.

What the extension never does

No analytics or telemetry
No collection of browsing history
No capture of your Etsy account data
No cookies, no fingerprinting
No sharing of any data with third parties

Payments

Pro subscriptions are sold by Polar (polar.sh) as the merchant of record. Polar processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your payment information.

Service providers (sub-processors)

Two third parties are involved in running Listing Clarity, and only in the narrow roles described here:

Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh): Payment processing and license key management for Pro subscriptions, as merchant of record. Receives your license key on activation and your payment details at checkout. Data processing under Polar's own privacy policy and data processing agreement.
Cloudflare, Inc. (cloudflare.com): Hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and provides its cookieless traffic analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). Like any web host, Cloudflare receives standard server logs (IP address, requested page) when you visit. The analytics count page views without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without building personal profiles. The extension itself never talks to Cloudflare.

Beyond payments (Polar) and hosting plus cookieless analytics (Cloudflare), there are no other sub-processors: no advertising networks, no CRM, no email marketing platform, and no cookie-based or cross-site tracking anywhere.

Your rights

Since we store no personal data on any server, a GDPR access or deletion request has nothing to return on our side. All extension data lives in your browser and is removed when you uninstall the extension. For anything else, email [email protected].
